Kyalo is an electronic musician, sound artist, and VJ based in Glasgow. His performances explore the liminal spaces between sound and vision using generative, audio-reactive visuals with live sequenced and semi-improvised music - from punishing breakcore and IDM-influenced sonic assault, to lofi and mesmeric soundscapes.

Best known for working across styles and stages with The Ninth Wave, Civil Elegies and The Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra, Kyalo's set for Pop Mutations comes on the back of a string of performances - opening for Mdou Moctar and The Utopia Strong - as well as a resident VJ spot at Glasgow's Room2 nightclub, designing and performing visuals for DJs such as Batu, VTSS, and Taahliah.
