April 14th we're bringing a night of futuristic and forward-thinking club music to the Stereo basement, with a double-header from ZULI and Kavari.
Hailing from Cairo, ZULI's productions push the boundaries of dance music to breaking point. Featuring twisted vocal samples, abrasive percussion and warped synths. ZULI's blur the lines between sound art and club functionality.
Kavari's ethereal compositions strike a careful balance between delicate ambience, and raw emotion and aggression. Through a string of self-released EPs and singles, the Glasgow-based artists has slowly been establishing herself as one the strongest talents of the city's club scene.
