RYDER THE EAGLE

You may remember him from Freakender fest 2019, he was everywhere! crooning all over the Old Hairdressers, a highlight!

My name is Ryder The Eagle. I was born under the sign of Cancer in the south of France and like the planets predicted, I dedicated the beginning of my life to finding true love. Two EPs, a marriage and a divorce later, I embarked on a «Follymoon», an incandescent kind of a honeymoon where loneliness meets the folly of freedom.

I travelled across the USA on the Greyhound bus, lugging my microphone along sidewalks and crossings, diners and traffic lights. I spent two years in London crafting my break-up songs and sang them all over the globe supporting Adam Green, Jonathan Bree and a few others.

I ended up in Mexico City, where I’m currently living. I’m driving an old Chevy Caprice which I don’t have insurance for. My trunk is full of memories from a past that I can’t let go. One day I went to this Scottish town called Plean, unloaded everything and wrote nine songs about it.

So if you ever need a ride, I’ve got room in the car now - and we can play my first album on the stereo. Can’t wait to meet you.

ALAN POWER

Similar to a character plucked from Phoenix Nights, Alan Power is a UK based singer/songwriter who emerged from out of nowhere, fully formed, in 2019 with the release of his debut single ‘Prodigal Son’.

Across his various sold-out live shows, Power has shared the stage with The Vaccines, Spector, Matt Maltese, Jack Ladder, Nick Allbrook and many others.

His music is rooted in traditional country and folk with notable leanings towards the abstract, post-punk and experimental.
His live performances have provoked attention for its unconventional nature and unpredictability meaning no two shows are ever the same.
Recently Power sold-out Servant Jazz Quarters and Laylow in only a few hours.

Following the critically-lauded albums “Greatest Hits vol.1” and “Songs To Break America” with a third on the way and the latest hit singles ‘Avalon’ and ‘Breathe In, Breathe Out’, we will see Alan Power enter into his next era 2022 and it promises to be his most intriguing yet.
