Pop Mutations are pleased to present an evening of experimental electronic and ambient music with Eamon Ivri & JQ as they stop in Glasgow for their joint UK tour this Spring.
Eamon Ivri (aka Lighght) creates music from all across a broad spectrum of electronic music styles. Performing here in support of "stones and mud" - the album released through his new "mineral stunting" alias - Eamon melds whirring insect-like samples above warbling synths and voice to evoke the primoridial imagery of (in his own words) "...smoke over a bog with a light shining on through"...
JQ is a London-based producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist. His work often exhibits an experimental, genre-fusing approach to ambient music; his recent release "Truth Serum" on Los Angeles label Post Geography spins sleek, digital club and pop aesthetics into delicate soundscapes.
They are joined on the night by GLARC-approved Glasgow local and Pop Mutations favourite Han.
